For the 4th we usually head over to my parents house to watch the fireworks, play in the water and eat all day. Unfortunately, this year the weather wasn't too permitting. Which was alright because my sister Alissa was supposed to come home and visit her favorite niece but ended up getting sick :( We still went over and watched the fireworks last night...which Adri suprisingly slept through! My mom and I had the best seats in the house...don't cha think?!
Today everyone (us, my grandparents and great grandparents) went over for a bbq...inside. It was a rainy, dreary day! Adri has been pretty miserable these past couple of days...and on a nursing strike...talk about frustrating!! She's teething so possibly that's part of the problem?! But here is a pic of her looking patriotic in her outfit my friend Jacqui bought her...and sitting up pretty good!
